Social media toolkit

This is what inclusion looks like

Disability inclusion is everybody’s business. Help us spread the word.

Two chefs, both wearing masks, prepare food in a professional kitchen. One is writing on a pad of paper, the other is looking at a cake that is being prepared.

Inclusive Futures partners with companies around the world to foster more inclusive working environments for people with disabilities.

We team up with people with disabilities to enhance their skills and knowledge to compete in the jobs market and work with representative organisations to drive real change.

We’ve learned a lot, but there are many more examples of disability inclusion to share – and more people who need convincing that inclusion works. Help us start a global movement for change by using our toolkit below.

Useful extras

Get the biggest reach possible

  1. Use Twitter’s descriptive text functionality to describe images for people who are visually impaired.
  2. Keep links in full rather than scrambling them with a link shortener, so that users know where they are being directed to.
  3. If using video content with audio, add subtitles so that the video can be understood without sound.
