In Uganda, we're working with the Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE) and are building relationships with the Uganda Bankers’ Association and Human Resource Managers’ Association.

We're working with disability-inclusion academies to increase their capacity to provide job readiness support to youths with disabilities, and help increase disability confidence of employers.

We’re also working collaboratively with the existing ‘Make 12.4% Work' initiative from partner, Light for the World. The initiative brings young people with different types of impairments together to provide disability awareness training, coaching and support to employers, showing them how to make workplaces disability friendly, and how to include people with disabilities in livelihood programmes. 12.4% is the percentage of people living in Uganda with a disability.
