Light for the World

Light for the World is a global disability and development organisation breaking down unjust barriers to unlock the biggest potential. We focus on the poorest and hardest to reach, because they need it most.

We work with partners, because together we are stronger.

As part of the Inclusive Futures initiative, we support people with disabilities, businesses and institutions to create more livelihood opportunities. In Bangladesh, we ensure inclusive vocational training and employment. In Kenya, we link micro-entrepreneurs with disabilities to businesses. In Nepal, we create decent work opportunities, including in the coffee value chain.

We're involved in the consortium because…

Upholding rights

"...work rights are human rights."

Inclusion

"...more evidence is needed on inclusive livelihoods; and people with disabilities should be in the driving seat."

Innovations

"...co-creation and innovation is in our DNA. Together we are stronger!"
